Awesome interview solution. Cant wait to use it again.

Simply put, it’s awful. Adds pressure, elevate unnecessary self awareness, creating unwanted psychological tension on the user. I have used it, it was not pleasant. All my coworkers who had been through the same process all agreed. It’s still a good idea but needs some major feature improvement to make people feeling comfortable.

This app is so disgusting that I told myself anybody who try’s to interview me this way..I’m no longer interested. Worst app ever created, wish I could give zero stars but unfortunately I can’t. Very very awkward just a lazy way for them to interview you..much rather met in person like it’s supposed to be

The way the app runs you don't submit your interview as one final product but for some reason as individual pieces. There is no reviewing the final product and the next button is also the submit button. I have never seen an online resume or application where when you go to the next page it submits the prior. This is not common practice and no one should have to wonder if they can’t finish their work and look at the whole picture. Also if your service is to act as a medium for interviews why would you choose to go against the common practice? Why make your experience and specific style a unique challenge that interviewees have to add to their interview preparations? Further I believe little real effort was made to account for this and ensure people are made aware. Mentioning it in a body of text within one link on you FAQ page on the tech help page is to the point of devious.

This shouldn’t determine one’s ability to be an employee with a company. This was my first attempt in interviewing and it was a disaster. I have ptsd and it was difficult to be timed.

The interview started out ok but then the video would start recording an answer, randomly stop, then say there was an error. One of the answers it summited, without me clicking on the submit button, or it just went to the next question. I miss the days where your future wasn’t determined by a stupid app.

This app is no good, it puts to much pressure on the users. There is no turn on camera feature or at least a pixel feature. The app itself has not a lot of directions. Overall I give this app a 1.5 Please do better!!

How ro cancel a subscription made by mistake

Using Veridian Dynamics as the dummy company just makes me happy.

I find this way of recruiting candidates to be distasteful. I automatically lose respect for a company that requires this discriminating method *cough cough*, Vans

It’s annoying how you barely get time to express your thoughts. It’s easy to mess up while recording and you can’t go back. Employers need to just stick to zoom calls because this is ineffective.

There are only 3 practice questions, and I would like more if I’m practicing for a real interview. They don’t only ask you 3 questions in a job interview, so more practice questions would be helpful.

I suppose we will all be interviewing in this format so we should get used to it. The app does the basics without any extras that don’t need to be there. That being said, things like this are impersonal and make the interview process more nerve-wracking than something in person- “practice” questions, countdown timers and the ability to review your answers are only there to irritate and frazzle. Scheduled phone interviews and video calls where you speak and meet someone in or hired by the company don’t give you so much time to wonder if that job on the other end of this impersonal app is actually worth it. Anyone not recognizing this fact are on the other end watching their applicants squirm and whine as they sit and chuckle.

Horrible app. Would never recommend.

Will not allow utilization of the practice session nor allow to check camera and sound settings. Was not able to process interview in a timely matter. Fix and I will re-evaluate.

you can do you interview anywhere anytime on your own time with no pressure. hope all companies starts doing this kind of selections.

The app seems to work fine, but the more I thought about doing this interview, the more I realized if any potential employer can’t make the time for a phone or video call, I’m not interested in them. I would suspect others might feel the same.

I have tried to refresh this page over 15 times and still cannot complete my interview. It passed after question 4/6 and will freeze every time I want to start over! Please fix this! I have great internet service and am not quite sure what could be the problem.

As far as the app goes it’s a 5 star experience for sure. If I could rate it higher for the use of Veridian Dynamics I would. It’s a great reference. “Veridian Dynamics. We make things better. Sometimes.”

The app is trash people make mistakes and you do not have the ability to correctly express yourself or show your true personality because your talking to a machine. Also it froze up on me halfway through my response submission

I truly hate HireVue. It is such an impersonal, lazy, and detached way to have an interview. Obviously it’s just more convenient for the companies. I would rather meet person to person to have an interview. I found it so uncomfortable. If I could give it less than a star I would. Companies want people to work for them then they should make an effort to make a genuine connection. Clearly laziness and greed override that. I truly hope this online interview does not become a trend.

I have no idea who in their right mind decided that a prerecorded video interview was a good idea. I do not interview well like that at all it’s basically just monologuing and the timer going down makes me lose my ability to think. I would never do an interview in this form again.

Did an interview whit this app and I hated every minute of it. Worst experience I’ve ever had.

Allowing an AI to analyze your facial movements and then storing those images and data in someone’s database for 2 years! All for the prospect of a potential job. Why does anyone agree to these T’s&C’s?!

Self explanatory.

I don’t think this is anything like a real interview. It’s nice when a company takes the time for a real interview where you can look a people in the face and have a true interview experience. Who cares if you are in the comfort of your own home if you care about a job interview then do it face to face and be somebody. I would never use a digital interview like this in my company.

The implementation was decent enough (some things still felt sloppy). The design and management is where I had an issue. First of all if anyone calls you during the interview, or any shift from the app to another app, will immediately end your response to the interview question. Additionally, they use illogical pseudoscience based algorithms to decide if someone is a fit for the job. There is absolutely no credible research to back up their claims about their algorithm.

This interviewing method is awkward for the applicant and weird to talk to yourself about yourself. I'm no longer interested in job with Bank of America because I refuse to get dressed up at home and talk to my iPad about myself.

These developers have done a superb job in developing a great service for both the person being interviewed as well as the company hiring!! You are given enough information on how the process works and even can take breaks between interview questions to grab a drink of water or such to feel refreshed for each and every question! Highly recommend.

Its impersonal, awkward, and rather dehumanizing. Face to face interviews are better.

The app performed very well and did exactly what was advertised. Make sure you watch some YouTube tutorials on at home video lighting if you’ve never done anything like this before. The actual interview feels surprisingly similar to an in-person one. So no sweat, right?

This app crashes constantly and even after meeting time limits with responses, the app always “has an issue saving the recording” and asks to “try again” well I’ve tried again and again numerous times and your app won’t work and it’s really frustrating

The video practice was a great feature. The countdown helps prepare you. I enjoyed the experience of a home interview.

I really enjoyed the video interview. Like being there in person. You have adequate time once the questions are asked to give and explain your answer. Video is a great way to show who you are, how you respond and articulate to their questions. Just what type of person you are. A nice mix of video, audio and typing made for a comfortable interview.

I liked the questions. They were relevant to the position I am applying and made me feel good about my chances for getting the position.

This app is great and definitely gave me enough time to practice, enough time to prepare for questions in the real interview and enough time to answer the question. Very easy to use making it user friendly even for those that lack technological use.

I met with the hiring manager of a large retail chain, he said I was what they were looking for and he would hire me right now but I had to be interviewed by this artificial intelligence app. I had good lighting, no background noise, I practiced, I got all dressed up as if it were a real human interviewing me and it came back "unqualified". The hiring manager called me and told me and said to take it again. I did it all over and got the same result. I have never been fired, held my jobs for years, received many merit raises and now I just wanted a part time job to supplement social security and this bot says I'm unqualified to put shoes on a shelf! I am not impressed with this mindless and inhuman technology.

Love this app! It was easy and idiot proof... if any mistakes were made it was just me trying to get my answer across correctly. All companies need to use this before a real interview. Then they can really see how much the person loves what they do, and why they feel they should work for the company. Excellent app!
